Pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan di ruang rawat inap RSU Tual

Latar Belakang: Kinerja perawat pada hakekatnya adalah terlaksananya asuhan keperawatan. Asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan menjadi lebih efektif apabila perawat melaksanakannya sesuai Standar Asuhan Keperawatan. Standar Asuhan Keperawatan dan dokumentasi keperawatan mempunyai peranan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan pelayanan keperawatan yang professional. Jumlah dan kualifikasi tenaga keperawatan yang ada di RSU Tual belum memadai, karena perawat yang bertugas di ruang rawat inap sebanyak 61 orang terdiri dari DIII Keperawatan 15 orang (25%) dan SPK/Bidan 46 orang (75%). Di RSU Tual sudah pernah dilakukan pelatihan asuhan keperawatan, namun penerapan askep dan pendokumentasian keperawatan belum dilaksanakan dengan baik atau sesuai Standar Asuhan Keperawatan sehingga perlu untuk melakukan pelatihan penyegaran pendokumentasian bagi perawat yang bertugas di ruang rawat inap RSU Tual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasian keperawatan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Metode: Merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pre test and post test group design tanpa kontrol. Subyek penelitian adalah perawat yang bertugas di 6 ruang rawat inap sebanyak 30 orang dan berkas-berkas rekam medik yang diobservasi 1 bulan sebelum dan 1 bulan sesudah pelatihan. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah check list, kuesioner dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data secara deskriptif dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t berpasangan dan Chi Square Hasil: Hasil analisis data dengan uji t berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan motivasi, kemampuan, pengetahuan dan kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasian keperawatan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Uji Chi square menunjukkan ada hubungan antara pelatihan dan peningkatan pendokumentasian keperawatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan motivasi, kemampuan, pengetahuan dan kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasian keperawatan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan di RSU Tual

Background: Nursing performance is essentiall to implement a quality nursing care. The procedures would be more effective if the nurses had implemented it based on Standard of Nursing Care. Standard of Nursing Care and nursing documentation play an important role in determining the success of a professional nursery service. The quantity and qualification of existing nurse staff in Tual General Hospital were not sufficient compare. There were 61 nurses assigned at in-patient department which consist of 15 persons (25%) from DIII Nursing Program and 46 persons (75%) from SPK/Midwifery School. Training had been carried out in order to improve the quality of nursing care. However, the evaluation showed that after training program was implemented, improvement was not obvious nursing care and nursing documentation had not been correctly implemented appropriate to the Standard of Nursing Care. Therefore it was considered to create a refreshing training program in specific topic of Standard Nursing Care and the documentation as well. Training was designed for nurses who work in-patient department in Tual General Hospital. The objective of the research was to identify the performance of nurses on nursing documentation before and after training. Method: This research was a quasi experimental research, with pre test and post test without control group design. The subjects of the research were 30 nurses which are assigned at 6 rooms of in-patient department and Medical records files which were observed between the period a month before and after training became a source of information. The research instruments used were check-list, questionnaire and interview manual. In this research, the data were analysed with descriptive method and statistical analysis with paired sample t statistic test and Chi Square employed to deffer the performance before and after training program. Results: The result showed that motivation, ability, knowledge and performance of the nurses in nursing documentation between pre test and post test improved significans. The Chi Square test results showed that there were significans improvement an performance and nursing documentation. The results were supported the hypothesis. From the research findings, it could be concluded that there were increasing of motivation, ability, knowledge and performance of the nurses in nursing documentation between before and after training in Tual General Hospital
