Respon imun seluler pada penduduk yang terpapar bising pesawat udara di sekitar Bandara Adi Sumarmo Boyolali :: Kajian tentang general reaction score, kortisol, jumlah dan aktivitas natural killer cell (NK) pada wanita

Paparan bising pesawat udara dapat berisiko terhadap kesehatan. Terdapat banyak bukti yang menunjukkan bahwa paparan bising pesawat udara dapat menyebabkan gangguan pendengaran, hipertensi, penyakit jantung iskemik, ketergangguan (annoyance), gangguan tidur dan penurunan prestasi sekolah. Sedangkan efek terhadap perubahan pada sistem imun dan lahir cacat, bukti-bukti masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bising pesawat udara terhadap 1) General Reaction Score (GRS) 2) kadar kortisol darah 3) jumlah sel NK (CD56+CD16+CD3-) dan aktivitas sel NK pada penduduk di sekitar bandara Adi Sumarmo Boyolali. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan memberikan manfaat pada pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat sekitar bandara Adi Sumarmo Boyolali khususnya dalam upaya-upaya preventif terhadap efek paparan bising. Rancangan penelitian adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan mengambil lokasi di Desa Dibal dan Gagak Sipat, Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Boyolali. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Juli 2008 sampai dengan bulan Juni 2009. Jumlah keseluruhan sampel 39, terbagi dalam 3 kelompok ; kelompok I terpapar bising intensitas 92,29 dB (13 responden); kelompok II terpapar bising intensitas 71,79 dB (13 responden); kelompok III terpapar bising intensitas 52,17dB (13 responden). Pengambilan sampel dengan cara simple random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan Pearson Correlation dan Kruskal-Wallis one way Anova diikuti dengan Multiple Comparisons test. Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis one way Anova menujukkan ada perbedaan yag signifikan antar kelompok terhadap 1) General Reaction Score (GRS) 2) kadar kortisol 3) jumlah sel NK dan aktivitas sel NK, yang ditunjukkan dari nilai p<0,05. Hasil uji Pearson Correlation menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara General Reaction Score (GRS) akibat paparan bising pesawat udara dengan 1) kadar kortisol darah (r = 0,473; p = 0,02), 2) jumlah sel NK(CD56+CD16+CD3-) (r = 0,451; p = 0,04) dan 3) adanya hubungan negatif antara General Reaction Score (GRS) akibat paparan bising pesawat udara dengan aktivitas sel NK (r = -0,554; p = 0,00). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara paparan bising pesawat udara terhadap 1) General Reaction Score 2) kadar kortisol darah, 3) jumlah sel NK dan aktivitas sel NK pada penduduk di sekitar bandara Adi Sumarmo Boyolali.

Exposure to noise contributes to a health risk. There is sufficient scientific evidence that aircraft noise exposure could induce hearing impairment, hypertension and ischemic heart disease, annoyance, sleep disturbances, and decreased school performance. Other evidence as changes in the immune system and birth defects is limited.The aims of the research is to find out the effect of the aircraft noise on the, 1) General Reaction Score (GRS) 2) circulating levels of cortisol, 3) number of Natural Killer cell (CD56+CD16+CD3-), and Natural Killer cell activities of people in the area of The Adi Sumarmo Airport of Boyolali.The research finding is expected to contribute to the science development and to give benefits for local government and people in the Area of Adi Sumarmo Airport in preventing the effect of aircraft noise. The research design was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach, taking location at the Dibal and the Gagak Sipat Village, Ngemplak Sub district, Boyolali District, Central of Java Province, Indonesia. The research was conducted from July 2008 to June 2009. The number of respondents was 39. They were divided into 3 groups; Group 1 was exposed 92.29dB of noise level (13 respondents); Group 2 was exposed 71.79 dB of noise level (13 respondents); and Group 3 was exposed 52.17 dB of noise level (13 respondents). The samples were taken using simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by Pearson Correlation and Kruskal-Wallis one way Anova followed by Multiple Comparisons test. The Kruskal-Wallis one way Anova test was showed that there were a significant difference of 1) General Reaction Score (GRS) 2) circulating cortisol levels, 3) the number of Natural Killer Cell and Natural Killer Cell activities, in the groups of respondents as proven by the value of p < 0,05. The Pearson Correlation test was showed that there were a positive association between General Reaction Score induced by aircraft noise exposure with 1) circulating levels of Cortisol (r = 0.473 ; p = 0.02), 2) the number of Natural Killer Cell (r = 0.451; p = 0.04) and 3) negative association between General Reaction Score with Natural Killer Cell activities (r = - 0.554; p = 0.00). Based on the results of the analysis, a conclusion was drawn that there was a significant effect of the aircraft noise on the 1) General Reaction Score 2) circulating levels of Cortisol, 3) the number of Natural Killer cell, and Natural Killer cell activities of people in the area of the Adi Sumarmo Airport of Boyolali.
