The Cipularang Toll Road, located in West Java, Indonesia, is one of the most vital highways in Indonesia that supports transportation link among its major cities: Jakarta, Bandung and the surrounding area. The toll road was constructed in 2004 to 2005 and was opened for public transportation in March 2005. Rigid pavement will be used for the next design by using American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials AASHTO 1993 and AUSTROADS 1992. Rigid pavement design using AASHTO 1993 and AUSTROADS 1992 are based on cumulative expected 80 kN ESAL The design life of rigid pavement is normally 20 years. Annual average daily traffic in 2005 is 154941 vehicles/day/2 destinations. CBR design value 6%. The result of thickness design calculated by AASHTO 1993 using charts, D equal 30 cm. AUSTROAD 1992 given the thickness design value by using the selection of trial base thickness with the calculation of expected repetitions and allowable fatigue and erosion analysis, a slab thickness of 21 cm is adopted.
