Pelatihan kader posyandu dalam penemuan kasus pneumonia balita di Puskesmas Marabahan Kabupaten Barito Kuala Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan tahun 2008

Latar Belakang : Penemuan penderita pneumonia masih sangat rendah, oleh karena itu dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan penemuan penderita pneumonia perlu melibatkan peran serta masyarakat. Salah satu alternatif adalah dengan melibatkan kader posyandu agar terlibat secara aktif membantu menemukan tersangka pneumonia. Untuk membekali kader posyandu maka dilakukan pelatihan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian : Untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh pelatihan kesehatan melalui metode ceramah tanya jawab menggunakan media audio visual dengan metode modul terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader posyandu dalam menemukan penderita pneumonia balita. Metode penelitian : Quasi experimental dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design with pretest and posttest. Analisis data menggunakan chi-square dan paired t-test, sedangkan untuk membandingkan perubahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan responden antar kelompok perlakuan dilakukan dengan uji statistik independent t-test. Subyek penelitian adalah kader posyandu yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi, dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok diberi pelatihan dengan metode ceramah tanya jawab menggunakan media audio visual dan metode modul. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dan observasi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian : Analisis statistik menunjukkan setelah intervensi terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p<0,05) antara pretes, postes-1, postes-2 pengetahuan dan observasi-1, observasi-2, observasi-3 keterampilan kader posyandu, pada kelompok perlakuan ceramah tanya jawab menggunakan media audio visual peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan : 5,55+2,31 dan 2,39+0,61, pada kelompok perlakuan modul : 3,24+1,60 dan 1,45+0,90. Kesimpulan : Pelatihan kader posyandu dengan metode ceramah tanya jawab menggunakan media audio visual dan metode modul meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader posyandu dalam menemukan penderita pneumonia balita, tetapi metode ceramah tanya jawab menggunakan media audio visual lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader posyandu dalam menemukan penderita pneumonia balita dibandingkan metode modul.

Background : The finding of pneumonia patient was still very low and hence, in order to improve the finding of pneumonia patient, community’s participation is necessary. One of the alternatif methods was by involving posyandu cadre in order to find pneumonia’s suspected patient. Therefore, health training is necessary to be conducted. Objective : This research was aimed to find out the difference on health training influence through speech method that used audio visual media with module method toward improvement on knowledge and skill of posyandu’s cadre in finding children under five years old who sufferred from pneumonia. Method : This was a quasi experimental research that used nonequivalent control group design with pretest and posttest. Data analysis was using chi square and paired t test while to compare the changes in knowledge and skill of respondent among treatment group was conducted with independent t-test statistic test. The research subject was posyandu cadre who was chosen based on inclusive criteria that was classified into two groups who were given training with speech method that used audio visual media and module media. Data selection was conducted by using closed questioner and field observation. Result : The statistic analysis showed that there was a significant difference after given intervention (p<0,05) between pretest, posttest-1, posttest-2 knowledge and observation-1, observation-2, observation-3 on the skill of posyandu’s cadre, in treatment group the speech method that used audiovisual media showed improvement on the knowledge and skill that was 5,55+2,31 and 2,39+0,61, and in treatment group with module that was 3,24+1,60 dan 1,45+0,90. Conclusion : Training of posyandu’s cadre with speech method that used audio visual media and module method could improve posyandu cadre’s knowledge and skill in finding children under five years old who sufferred from pneumonia. However, speech method that used audio visual media could improve posyandu cadre’s knowledge and skill in finding children under five years old who sufferred from pneumonia higher than module method.
